Booking a Room
lease book your room using the guidelines below, rather than booking through the hotels' websites. The hotels have reserved a certain number of rooms for our use, and booking this way ensures a better rate for you (not to mention accurate numbers for us). The rates advertised on the hotel's website may vary, and are set to rise, so we’re very glad to be able to offer a special rate to convention attendees for the duration of the convention.
The Cork International Hotel, our main venue, is now sold out. The reservations team are maintaining a waiting list in case of cancellations, so if you want to be added to it, please contact them as outlined below. The special convention rate organised for the Cork International Hotel is €85 per night for a single or double/twin room. Breakfasts are optional, at a price of €10 each per person. Please specify if you'd like breakfasts when booking. Room upgrades are also available for an additional charge of €30 per room per night - please ask when booking if you are interested.
How to Contact the Cork International Hotel for the Waiting List:
The hotel is now at full capacity, but does have a waiting list in case of cancellations. The special convention rate is not available when booking through the hotel website, so please:

Note: Remember to quote your membership number(s), number of people for the room, dates required, if breakfast is preferred, and the code ‘IDW Convention 2017’ when booking to avail yourself of the special rate.
How to Book the Cork Airport Hotel:
The nearest alternative hotel to the venue is the Cork Airport Hotel. They have very kindly offered us the room-only rate of €105, and breakfast can be included for €10 per person per night. Please specify if you’d like breakfast when booking. The Cork Airport Hotel have limited availability, so we advise members to contact them as soon as possible. Other Accommodation
Cork has a wealth of other great quality hotels and hostels available, and regular buses from the city centre. There is also the nearby town of Kinsale, which is also on the airport bus route. A further list of hotels will follow, but the two above are the only ones with which IDWCon has an arrangement.
