About Membership
embership to the Irish Discworld Convention is what you buy instead of a ticket, and entitles you to entry to all events at the Convention (except the Banquet Dinner). While memberships are now sold out, we do have a waiting list for you to add yourself to. Those of you who already have a membership can be found on our member list. When you arrive at the Convention itself, you'll need to go to our Registration Desk to collect your badge, event programme and member pack.
These are the prices of memberships:
- Full Membership: €50
- Concessionary Membership: €40
- Child Membership: €1
Our membership sales are handled through PayPal. You can also purchase memberships for friends and family.
There are some programme items for which signing-up in advance is required, such as the popular swordfighting classes which have restrictions on numbers; this will be done at the registration desk on arrival.
Please ensure you read and understand the Terms and Conditions before signing up (making sure to read about what qualifies you for concession membership, as you may be asked for proof on the day).
