6-9th October
at the Cork
International Hotel
On Now
Getting There
How to Get There
By Car / Taxi
From Dublin
From Shannon Airport
From Rosslare Ferry Port
From Cork Train Station
From Cork Bus Station
From Cork Ferry Port
The travel times are less than 3 hours from Dublin or Rosslare by car, and less than 2 hours from Shannon. And from Cork city itself, only 10-15 minutes’ drive.
By Bus
Get to Cork, take the Bus Eireann Route 226(A); it runs twice an hour Monday to Saturday from 5am to 10pm at the time of writing. (Or any bus that stops at the Airport itself and walk the last stretch).
By Train
Get to Cork by train and see directions for Taxi or Bus, as above.
By Plane
Cork International Hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the terminal building. Or it’s a 5 minute walk from the terminal to the back door of the hotel. AerLingus and Ryanair fly into Cork from the UK and Europe.
By Dragon
For this, you will need a very good imagination. First lure a dragon close - shiny trinkets may be of use here. Then, train your dragon (there is apparently an instructive film on this subject). Once your dragon is harnessed and ready to go, mount up and fly toward the setting sun, but be careful not to stray too far from the Wyrmberg. Please let us know in advance if you will be arriving by dragon, so that Lady Sybil can prepare suitable stabling for it; we'll also stock up on large amounts of anti-burn cream (on reflection, this might not be the safest way to travel).
The hotel itself has a travel information page.
